Professor of Public International Law and International Relations at the Rey Juan Carlos University of Spain. Author of several scientific papers internationally recognized in their discipline, which analyzes the issues relating to international protection of human rights and integration processes in Latin America and Iberoamerica. He has been dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Extremadura.
He has been director of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Vice Chancellor for Academic and Management Studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University. He directed the Master in International Cooperation with Latin America and the Caribbean of the University. He is part of the expert group for the development and implementation of the Ibero-American Cultural Charter and is the director at the Centre for Iberoamerican Studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University.

Maria Angeles Cano Linares is a Public International Law and International Relations Professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. At present she is Deputy Director of the Latin American Studies Center and head of Latin American Master in International Relations.
